Today I made my very first venture into the KFPL. I regret that I did not go much sooner. I was highly impressed by the place. They had a decent religion section, for starters, but the best part was by far the movie section. They had some great stuff, not the least of which included "The Cook, the Theif, His Wife, and Her Lover", by Peter Greenaway, "8 1/2" and "Roma" by Fellini, and one of my favourite tv series, "Blanche" in the original french. They even have a DVD section, in which I was pleased to find a copy of "Tom Jones" (a period movie, not cheezy music, in case you are confused). But the crowning glory was that they had a copy of Hedwig and the Angry Inch on DVD. Now any library that has that in their movie collection clearly shows signs of inteligence and good taste. :)
