What Video Game Character Are You? I am Mario.I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. What Video Game Character Are You?

Just another quiz. I hope that some people out there might get a kick out of memories of old video games....you know who you are. :)
Back at the grind now. Woke up this morning to a typical grey rainy day in Kingston. Very hard to get out of bed on mornings like these. Rainy days are best for just staying in bed all day and moving in and out of dream states. That is the closest I come to tripping I guess. :) Sadly, I had to be up at some ungodly hour, (ie, before 11am) for a meeting. But, it got me up so now I should take advantage and do some work, right? Sure. I have been checking out Starhawk's page for my school work, and it looks cool. The best part is that she will be in Australia when I am there. Maybe I can see her in person...cool. Not that I am some drooling fan, but it is interesting to see people in person that you have been reading about and writing about (critisizing) for months. It would be en experience I am sure. I wonder if they will sell t-shirts, like at rock concerts. Maybe I could get her to sign a bood. Nah, she is too drained already I am sure. I could never keep up with all the stuff she does. I would drain out in no time. Speaking of which...back to the books. :)

Ok. I have been silent long enough. Time for some updating.
I sincerely hope that my long days of running about the country are over for a little while. I would really like to stay in one place longer than say, four or five days in a row. It would be nice. Not to say that I didn't enjoy all the fun my many travels have brought me, or that I didn't enjoy the company of the many people I saw on my trips; old friends and new, strangers with good conversations, family, my lover, all those wonderful people. But, now I need to stay put for a while. Maybe people will come and visit me. :)
I went to see 2001: A Space Odyssey on the weekend, on the big screen. The Princess was playing it, for those of us who were too young to see it on the big screen when it was originally released. Can't say that it has aged all that well, but I think that AI made a whole lot more sense to me after I watched it. More on that in my LiveJournal whenever I get a chance to write some more. Also took in some of the Animatrix this weekend. Too much violence of Man vs. Machine. However, I must say, The Animatrix was much more graphic than I was expecting. Yes, I know it was depicting war, but there is still a notion of gratuitous violence for those of us who are watching this as a form of entertainment, not as a documentary or in a war crimes trial or something. IMHO. More on this later too perhaps. But first, I would like to go and read outside in the nice weather, now that it has finally arrived.
